Take the MTR. Ocean Park station on the South Island line sits beside the park's main entrance, and a footbridge links the two. The line starts at Admiralty on Hong Kong Island. Buses using the Aberdeen Tunnel, taxis and private cars also reach the park, but the train is the simplest route for most visitors.
The train is the simple route
Wikipedia says Ocean Park station opened on 28 December 2016, together with the rest of the South Island line, and that it serves Ocean Park Hong Kong and Wong Chuk Hang. The line connects Admiralty station to the Southern District of Hong Kong Island. The station is built above ground, and a footbridge links it with the park entrance. The station has three exits: one for the public transport interchange, one for the footbridge to the park, and one for Wong Chuk Hang Road.
From Kowloon and the airport side
Because the South Island line starts at Admiralty, a visitor coming from Kowloon or from the airport side travels to Admiralty on another MTR line and changes there. Wikipedia describes the South Island line as a driverless line with only a handful of stations, so there is little to confuse once you are on it. Look for Ocean Park on the station signs and the line map. The footbridge from the station is the route to the main entrance.
Buses and taxis
Wikipedia notes that the Citybus Ocean Park Express, route 629 from Central Piers, used to run to the park and has since stopped its regular service. It also lists bus routes, so check its directions page for the current stops. Taxis and private hire cars also reach the park. Since bus services change, confirm the current routes with the operator or a transport app on the day you travel.
If you drive
The park's own directions send drivers through the Aberdeen Tunnel from its Happy Valley end, then onto Wong Chuk Hang Road, Ocean Park Road and the roundabout that leads to the main entrance. A car park sits at the main entrance and the park says it is open around the clock. Parking is charged by the hour with a daily maximum, and the park lists the rates on its directions page. The park suggests public transport where it is practical, and offers electric-vehicle charging in its car parks. Allow extra time at weekends and public holidays, when Wikipedia says the car park can be busy.
On arrival
Once at the main entrance, you scan or show your ticket at the turnstile. If you want to step out and return on the same day, ask the staff at the turnstile for a wristband and keep your ticket. The park has lockers, stroller hire and wheelchair hire at Aqua City on the Waterfront, and hourly lockers at the Summit near the Ocean Express exit. These details come from the park's own FAQ, which is the place to check for current charges.
Planning the return
Leave the park a little before the last crowd and use the same footbridge to the station. Check the last train time on the MTR's own page for the day of travel, because it varies with the timetable. If you came by bus or taxi, note the pick-up point near the public transport interchange before you go in. Allow a little extra time on the way out at the end of a busy day, when many visitors leave together.
Who this isn't for
If you are travelling with a large group or a wheelchair, the train is still the easiest route, but check station lift details with the MTR before you set out. Wikipedia lists a lift at two of the three station exits. If you plan to drive, note that the car park can be busy at the busiest times, according to Wikipedia, and that the park itself encourages visitors to use public transport.
